Feel free to use their drive-through, although you won’t want to miss out on admiring the display of goodies inside the longtime family-owned business.

After breakfast, head over to the Whidbey Golf Club where a lake and tree-lined course will provide the perfect backdrop for a round of golf or hitting balls at the range.

Discover Deception Pass

Next up, it’s time for lunch and The Shrimp Shack is the perfect place to eat before a full afternoon of hiking and adventure. Traveling up the Island to the iconic PNW hotspot will give you time to dream about their delicious menu. The only con about this place is you can never pick just one dish!

After lunch, head a few miles back toward North Whidbey where you’ll encounter Deception Pass State Park. Not only does it house the iconic arched bridge connecting Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands, but it contains 38 miles of breathtaking hiking trails. For the next few hours, find yourself entranced by shoreline views, meandering forest trails, and sighting local wildlife.

Dinner and a movie

It’s time to head back to Oak Harbor where you’ll dine at Fraser’s Gourmet Hideaway. Chef Scott Fraser prides himself on offering a fine dining experience, unique menu items, and seasonal fresh local ingredients. The Crab and Shrimp Lasagna as well as the Texas Long Bone Short Rib are sure to make your tastebuds sing.

Before heading back to your cabin in the woods, catch a feature at the Blue Fox Drive-In Theater. Although you’re sure to be enamored by the gigantic screen, don’t forget to visit the snack bar, tavern, arcade, and go-karts.
